CNY event @ 22.01.2011

It was Saturday and also one of my friend's birthday.

Once again, HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOU!

The event started from six in the evening until eleven something at night. So I was staying at home during the day time. Spent my day time by watching a very very old movie -____- but actually it was quite nice and funny. A 60's or 70's Chinese movie watched together with mummy. Mummy said this coming Saturday will have another old movie seem kinda nice too, going to watch again. Haahaaaassss

For Valentine *14.02*

14th of February = Valentine's Day
How do all of you celebrating this important day? I think girls will wish to get these all : roses, chocolate, present, candle light dinner, a romantic aka surprise celebration...sounds good, but the best will be your lover stay forever with you. I wish my BB will be with me for the entire life with love always. *heart you^^* I received the first three things which I mentioned just now last year - roses, chocolate and presentsss! Yay, it's presentSSS..because he bought me two. =P

Now, I'd like to share the history of Valentine's Day and something useful to you all. :D

Valentine lived in Rome during the third century. That was long, long ago! At that time, Rome was ruled by an emperor named Claudius. He didn't like Emperor Claudius, and he wasn't the only one! A lot of people shared his feelings.

Claudius wanted to have a big army. He expected men to volunteer to join. Many men just did not want to fight in wars. They did not want to leave their wives and families. As you might have guessed, not many men signed up. This made Claudius furious. So what happened? He had a crazy idea. He thought that if men were not married, they would not mind joining the army. So Claudius decided not to allow any more marriages. Young people thought his new law was cruel. Valentine thought it was preposterous! He certainly wasn't going to support that law!

Valentine was a priest. One of his favourite activities was to marry couples. Even after Emperor Claudius passed his law, he kept on performing marriage ceremonies -- secretly, of course. It was really quite exciting. Imagine a small candlelit room with only the bride and groom and himself. They would whisper the words of the ceremony, listening all the while for the steps of soldiers.

One night, they did hear footsteps. It was scary! Thank goodness the couple he was marrying escaped in time. But Valentine was caught. He was thrown in jail and told that his punishment was death. He tried to stay cheerful. And do you know what? Wonderful things happened. Many young people came to the jail to visit him. They threw flowers and notes up to his window. They wanted him to know that they, too, believed in love.

One of these young people was the daughter of the prison guard. Her father allowed her to visit Valentine in the cell. Sometimes they would sit and talk for hours. She helped him to keep his spirits up. She agreed that Valentine did the right thing by ignoring the Emperor and going ahead with the secret marriages. On the day he was to die, he left his friend a little note thanking her for her friendship and loyalty. He signed it, "Love from your Valentine."

The note started the custom of exchanging love messages on Valentine's Day. It was written on the day Valentine died, February 14, 269 A.D. Now, every year on this day, people remember. But most importantly, they think about love and friendship. And when they think of Emperor Claudius, they remember how he tried to stand in the way of love, and they laugh -- because they know that love can't be beaten! 

This is the history which I copied from web. Because of Valentine, here we got the Valentine's Day and be promise to take very good care and love your beloved one, okay? :)

Excited for tomorrow

Felt doing nothing all the day =(
Today left only three of us in the office, while another three went to outside audit. I really felt so bored because had nothing to do. Kept fill in the forms only x___x 

Yay...yesterday was a public holiday - Thaipusam. :) So I was off. Went to yam cha with my family in the morning but without my sister, she preferred to online instead of going out with us. Then at night, walked to the night market which located not far away from house together with my mummy, brother and sister. I like the environment there, though there are not so many stalls as compare to the one (that held every year, if you guys are staying in Raja Uda may know which one I mentioned). I can feel CNY is coming very soon at there! CNY songs were playing all the time and lanterns were light up. :D Nowadays hardly to buy a lot of things with only a RM50 note, but I'm pretty sure you can do that at there! Of course, I grabbed quite a lot....heeeee

Going to there again tomorrow. Teeeheeee =P Tomorrow there is having CNY event (庙会 in Chinese). I'm so looking forward. Anyone of you would like to join me? Have you all decorate your house for coming CNY already?? My house is soooo reddish now...@.@ haha, the curtain has turned to orange-red and few decorations was done. But mummy still want to buy more things to decorate..yay, I want to..want to have CNY feeling strongly. :)

So happppyyyy! This year I'm going to have reunion dinner at two places..BB's house and mine as well! BB is coming to my house for dinner too, yay, really so excited now! Last year, we had our own dinner separately and only met on chor yat. This year, I hope to see him everyday during CNY..^^

CNY is coming

CNY is coming soon! But then I still have so many things that wish to buy in my mind. =( So how? Hopefully my dear boyf will be free on this coming Saturday and bring me out for shopping. *hoping* My colleagues plan to have a "eat eat" day on this Sunday at Penang. They want to walk through all the streets in Penang to look for nice delicious food. Six of us will be in one car to Penang, wonder will catch by police or not.. Can four passengers sit at the back without applying the safety belt? Don't want get summon ><

My boyf's mum sms me, one of her message really make me laugh. As my daddy loves to eat the kuih kapit which made by my boyf's mum, so she asked me to marry with her son next year so that we can make more kuih kapit for my daddy in the future. *hahahaaaa~*

Plan not to do any nail art this year. Maybe just apply some colour, simple. =) (so need to buy new nail lacquers again -___-)

I'm searching new ringtone for my phone. Want to get some CNY songs for it. *searchingggg..*

Happy and meaningful weekend

It was really fulled of joy and meaningful! I went to my boyf's house on last Friday night and stayed there for two nights. Two couples went for movie after that, we watched the new movie named "Great Day". The movie is better compare with the last year. It is quite touching but it still cannot make me cry anyway. When the movie was almost finish, something unexpected was happened. Suddenly, the screen showed nothing and the lights in the hall were turn on. All of us knew that it not yet finish, so everyone kept waiting in their seats while minority left the hall after waiting for a few minutes. My boyf planned to leave too, but I asked him to wait first and see what will be the solution. Finally, we heard the sound of the movie and it played again. This was really my very first time! =O

His mum woke me up early the next day to have dim sum. My boyf didn't join us along as he is going to work. So I was having breakfast with his family and his brother's girlf. At last, I have a new companion. After finished having our meals, it was the time to start to work! Making kuih kapit! We started from twelve something in the noon and completed nearly seven in the evening. His mum was so happy that day kept saying that she can retire as she has two daughters and two daughters-in-law helping her. A long time to complete but it was worth, I like this kind of feeling so much, all of us can gather together, chatting and learning. =) *weeee*

Then I followed his two sisters to night market at night before having dinner. The night market there was not large compare to mine here, quite a lot of stalls. Met up with his parents to have dinner after that. Again, my boyf didn't follow us as he was so busy with his own stuff that night. Had asam laksa seafood soup as dinner, luckily it was not too spicy. =S Then his brother and I went to the fun fair beside the food court. We just walked, didn't play anything because I said "childish...." :S Backed to home, surfing the the web using his brother's laptop as I had nothing to do. Then watched the korean drama in the living room waiting his parents back. That night, I slept alone without my boyf. Know what was the time he come back to sleep~it was around 5/6 am.zzz Luckily I was not waiting for him, I went to bed around 1 am. =S

My boyf accompanied me whole day yesterday! Though we stayed at house the entire day, I was still so happy. =) Both of us woke up around 10 am in the morning, then I sticked on the tv watching channel 305 (80's drama) alone in the living room. Suddenly, my boyf came out with a bowl of noodle in his hand. He cooked it himself~awwww, I really didn't expect it! Yummylicious! A lovely breakfast with his self-cooked noodles and a glass of herbal tea, and enjoy the drama as well. So nice~^^

Helping his mum doing another type of kuih yesterday. It was really fun as it was my very first time to fry. His mum taught me how to fry so that all of them can be in the same colour. Learn again! Something bad happened after that, I was almost faint again. =( So I got to stop doing, having medicine and rest in bedroom. I couldn't rest well as I really wish to offer help. *sigh* Went to noodle station to have my favourite dish at night. *slurp slurp*

Ms Cheah told us that our company's annual dinner will be at 28th Jan, next Friday. The venue not yet decided. So headache for the dressing of the day. @~@

Trying hard to make the best of it

Seeeee..my hair was not really straight in this picha as I permed it for temporary. However, it was fail. My curly hair couldn't stand for long time. Maybe I was using the wrong way to maintain it, I got to work hard on it and make it perfect when CNY. I wish I can. =)

Tomorrow is Friday again, it meas the end of week for working. So happy! ^.^ After CNY, it is the peak period again coming non-stop. February, March, April, June, July~

Mummy was baking cookies everyday now. Yummylicious cookies for CNY! :D Of course I offered some help whenever it's under my ability. My boyf's mummy called me on Tuesday, probably will making kuih kapit in this coming weekend. But don't know whether the plan still on or not as my boyf is seriously sick now. =( Poor boyf...so sad when he is not feeling well.

I wish to have a wonderful yet memorable CNY this year. Gather with family, relatives, friends, classmates and ex-colleagues as well! May all plans can go smoothly! I missed the class gathering last year, hope to join 'em this year. And yeah, I miss my ex-colleagues so much, I also wish to see the little baby girl (who is my colleague's daughter). Last time the baby girl was sleeping when I paid a visit to her house, that time she was only one-month old, it was half year ago! May everything can be succeed!

First blog in 2011

It is the 9th day for the brand new year. I have so many resolutions in my mind just wonder can I complete all of them by one-year time. Hopefully I can. I'm so looking forward for the coming Chinese New Year. =)

Last, I was truly suffering in these few days. I didn't eat rice for five days, now I miss rice so much! ~.~ I'm having mouth ulcer. Really tortured me all the days! I hate...Even consulted doctor because of this. I hope to recover soon.
